DIRECTIONS TO MILLAMOLONG FROM SYDNEY
Please allow 3- 4 hours travelling time

Depending on which part of Sydney you are leaving from, you can take two different routes, either by Katoomba on The Great Western Highway or the most popular route "The Bells Line of Road". This route has the least amount of traffic as well as great views along the way.

From The Harbour Tunnel/Bridge head North to the M2 Motorway. On the M2 Motorway you go through a toll. After the toll you need head onto the OLD WINDSOR ROAD - this is (Rd 40). You will follow Rd 40 all the way to LITHGOW. Along the way you will go through Richmond, Box Hill etc and then onto the mountains. You will pass over the mountains on Rd 40 (Rd 40 becomes the famous "Bells Line of Road"). When you reach Lithgow turn right onto the Great Western Highway and follow signs to Bathhurst. When you reach Bathhurst you are about an hour from Millamolong. As you go through Bathhurst you need to turn LEFT onto Road 32 - sign posted to Cowra and Orange. Go straight - DO NOT turn off to Orange - Follow signs to COWRA (You will be on the Mid Western Highway - Road 24). Keep going until you reach Mandurama (after you pass through Blayney you will come to CARCOAR on your right - a tiny historic village set in the valley). Once you reach Mandurama you need to take the second RIGHT hand turn onto Silver street - Sign posts say Canonwindra and you will see a big brown sign which says "Millamolong". The Millamolong turn off is 8kms along this road - On the right hand side. It is a big Brown sign. You go onto dirt road. Follow signs to Millamolong Homestead. The Homestead is 6.5km along this dirt road. You will pass the vineyard on your right hand side and the Homestead is 1.5km from the beginning of the vineyard on your left.
